StarfishJune 2nd, 2009
Hailey is loving our ocean theme. We found a great craft book (Crafty Kids: Fun Projects for You and Your Toddler by Rosie Hankin) that has several ocean crafts in it to do. So, Hailey decided that she wanted to make a starfish today.

Here’s what you’ll need: construction paper for the background, construction paper cut into the shape of water, the shape of a starfish, a mouth shaped paper, 2 wiggly eyes, stars, tissue paper cut to look like seaweed, glue and glitter.

Glue on the water and the seaweed.

Add the starfish.

Add some eyes to the starfish and glue on some star shapes. Add some glitter to the extra glue on the starfish.

The finished starfish.

I love how the glitter covered up the starfish\’s eyes.
