Tot School- Week in Review
Hailey is 37 months old.
We had a super busy week last week and didn’t have a whole lot of time to get much Tot School stuff done. We did a few turkey related projects though, so I wanted to share those. Here are the crafts we did with links to my original posts:

We made this Thankful Turkey as a family using our hand prints.

We made this really cute paper plate turkey.

Hailey made this “Where is Turkey” book that helped to practice words like on, under and beside.

Paper Plate Turkey
Here is a cute paper plate turkey I saw over at Ramblings of a Crazy Woman.

Here’s what you’ll need: paper plate, construction paper, google eyes, glue and (not pictured) brown paint.

Cut out the center of the paper plate and then paint it brown. Or if you are trying to make a huge mess- paint your hands and your arms instead of the plate 😉

Glue on the turkey body and head.

Add some feathers.

The finished turkey.

"Where is Turkey?" Book
We made a book called “Where is Turkey” to practice words like on, under and beside.

Here are the pages of the book (Hailey got tired of coloring so you can see that I had to help out):

Thankful Turkey
We made this thankful turkey and it turned out really nice.

Here’s what you’ll need: turkey template, construction paper, crayons, scissors, glue and marker.

Hailey colored the turkey. While she was busy coloring, I cut out Hailey’s hand prints, my hand prints, and Rich’s hand prints. Then we each said things we were thankful for and I wrote our answers on our hand prints.

Hailey putting the turkey body onto her hand prints. The things Hailey was thankful for were: her movies, her toys, preschool, going to Disney World, Mommy & Daddy, and chocolate.

Our finished Thankful Turkey.
