Thankful TurkeyNovember 10th, 2009
We made this thankful turkey and it turned out really nice.

Here’s what you’ll need: turkey template, construction paper, crayons, scissors, glue and marker.

Hailey colored the turkey. While she was busy coloring, I cut out Hailey’s hand prints, my hand prints, and Rich’s hand prints. Then we each said things we were thankful for and I wrote our answers on our hand prints.

Hailey putting the turkey body onto her hand prints. The things Hailey was thankful for were: her movies, her toys, preschool, going to Disney World, Mommy & Daddy, and chocolate.

Our finished Thankful Turkey.

I must say that this is the cutest turkey ever! I also LOVE the idea of writing things we are Thankful for on each of the turkey’s “feathers”! Can I ask if you can tell me where I might find the cute little turkey body to print out so that my Grandchildren can also make these?
Thanks so much! I love your blog….
