Tot School- Week in Review
Oct
Hailey is 36 months old (my baby turned 3 this week!).
Here is a review of the activities we did last week with links to the original posts with more details and activities.
Letter Activities:
Hailey painted the letter Bb blue.

Our letter this week was the letter B. We made this cute Bb is for Bumble Bee.
Hailey loved making this Bb is for Bandaid Butterflies.
We have four word cards each week to go along with our letter of the week. Hailey is practicing her letter B words.
Theme activities:
We learned about fall and leaves last week. Hailey loved making several leaf rubbings.
We made these pretty fall leaves by coloring coffee filters with markers and then spraying them with water. The colors blend together and make very pretty leaves.
Hailey learned the names of the parts of a tree.
Hailey made a “Where is the Leaf?” book to practice words like under, on, in, behind and over.
Hailey also learned about making patterns.
Color and Shape activities:
Hailey wanted to why yellow and blue make green.
Playing our own version of Twister was a great way to practice colors and to focus on circles.

Tot School- Week in Review
Oct
(Hailey is 35 months old.)
It has been a long time since we participated in Tot School. We got busy with our move and then busy enjoying summer and I just ran out of time to participate. But we are back! Our first week back to Tot School was the week of Sept 21st, right after we came home from Disney World. We had a great vacation but we all came home sick- so our first week was kind of a slow week. Here’s what we did:
Our letter of the week was the letter A and our theme was Apples.
We made this Aa is for Apple page for what will be our alphabet book. You can see all of our A Activities here.
We made the Seasons of the Apple Tree- we made one page for each season to show how the apple tree looks during each season. You can see how we did the Seasons of the Apple tree here.
We made this very simple Paper Plate Apple.
As you can see it was a pretty light week in terms of projects. We were feeling much better last week so I will have a lot more to share during this coming week.

Paper Plate Apple
Sep
Here is a very simple apple craft:
We were supposed to use a paper plate but when we went to do the craft I realized that all of our paper plates were gone. So I cut a circle out of a cardboard box and that worked just fine.
Hailey tore up a piece of red construction paper and glued it onto the “paper plate.”
She added two green leaves and here is our finished apple.
Apple Activities
Sep
This last week I worked with Hailey on apples- a very popular theme at this time of year. I am going to be posting our activities over the next few days. For now I wanted to remind you of the apple activities we did last year.

We went apple picking.

Hailey made this apple tree.

Hailey practiced spelling her name with apple shapes.

We made our own Apples Up on Top book based on the book by Dr. Seuss.
I’ll be back over the next few days with the activities we did last week. Have a great weekend!
