Parts of the TreeOctober 8th, 2009
While learning about fall last week, we did a lesson on learning the names of the parts of the tree.
Here’s what you’ll need: tree shape, leave stickers, words to label the parts and glue.
Glue the tree on.
Add leaves to your tree.
Glue on the names of the parts of the tree.
The finished tree.

Oh this is great, I wish I’d have seen this before I put together the post on leaves we did last week. I was looking for activities that were more academic driven, like ones that involved language. This reminds me of how we used to lable everything in my classroom like the door, desk, whiteboard, etc so the kids would have more environmental print in their lives!
