Bee Crafty Kids- Robin Craft
Sep
Welcome back to the Bee Crafty Kids link up that I am co-hosting with To The Moon and Back, Look! We’re Learning and Monster’s Ed Homeschooling Academy.
We are using Road Trip USA this year to learn about United States geography. The first state we studied was Connecticut. The state bird for Connecticut is a robin, so I decided we should make a robin.
First, Hailey and Hunter glued a branch shaped paper onto the blue construction paper.
I cut up little pieces of brown construction paper and then crumpled it all up to look like a nest. They glued the nests onto the branch.
Then they added the robin and some blue eggs.
Our completed robins.

Apple Core Craft
Sep
Here is another simple, but cute apple craft:
You’ll need a paper plate. red paint, green, brown and black construction paper.
When we went to start the activity I realized I only had one paper plate left, so Hailey and Hunter had to work together. First, they painted the ends of the paper plate.
Next they added some seeds.
Then Hailey added the stem and leaves.
Cute apple core 🙂

Apple Tree Activity
Sep
I love how these apple trees turned out! Plus, they were easy and fun to make 🙂
First, we glued the base of the tree onto the paper.
Next, we glued ripped up pieces of green paper to the top of the tree.
After that we stamped red, yellow and green paint onto the trees to represent apples. We used the ends of markers to do it, they were the perfect size.
Hailey decided to rip up more paper to add some grass and a sunshine.
Our finished apple trees.

Tot School
Sep
Hunter is 21 months old.
We had another fun week at Tot School!
Hunter loves calendar time! He counts along with us and loves adding the number each day.
Hunter is still learning the letter A and using the printables from Royal Baloo.
Our theme is still apples and Hunter has been working on some pieces that will eventually be a Tot Book, using printables from 2 Teaching Mommies.
Pointing to the apple with the circle on it.
Hunter enjoyed making an Apple Tree.
This Apple Life Cycle Craft turned out really cute!
We took a field trip and saw how donuts are made.
We also watched apple cider being made.
Hailey and Hunter had to check out the pumpkins.
We made some applesauce in the crockpot. Hunter added some apples.
He put in some cinnamon.
He ate quite a few of the apples too 🙂
Hunter also helped to make some apple crisp,
which turned out really yummy!
Stop by 1+1+1=1 to see what the other tots were up to this week.
