Letter of the Week- Letter K
Feb
Sorry that we went missing for a few days. If you read Livin’ With Me then you know that we are preparing to put our house up for sale and we have just been really busy. But I really need to work on doing at least a daily craft with Hailey because she needs her routine and loves doing crafts. So, we are back!
This week we are focusing on the letter K and we made a King K. Like many of our letter of the week art activities, I found this idea at No Time for Flashcards.

Here’s what you’ll need: a large letter K on construction paper, two other pieces of construction paper, colored pencils, some sequins, glitter and (not pictured) glue.

Color the letter K.

Add a crown to your K.

Decorate your King K. We added sequins and glitter.

Letter of the Week- Letter J
Feb
Our letter this week is the letter J. I had a really hard time coming up with a craft to do relating to the letter J. Then I saw Hailey looking at one of her Veggie Tales books and talking about Junior. So, we made a Junior J.

Here’s what you’ll need: a large J on construction paper, several Juniors, crayons, glue and another piece of construction paper to glue the J on.

Color your Juniors.

Color the J.

Glue the Juniors onto the J.

Letter of the Week- Letter I
Feb
This week we are focusing on the letter I. For our art project we made an Ice Cream Cone I- an idea I found at No Time for Flashcards.

Here’s what you’ll need: a few pieces of construction paper, a large I, crayons and glue.

I drew some diamonds on the I to make it look like the cone and then Hailey colored it.

Cut out the ice cream.

Color the ice cream.

Glue everything together.

Letter of the Week- Letter H
Jan
Our letter this week is the letter H- which is Hailey’s favorite letter. When I told her we were doing the letter H she said, “That’s for Hailey. ‘H’ is in my name!”
Here is our art project for the letter H this week, which I once again found at No Time for Flashcards.

Here’s what you’ll need: the letter H on construction paper, another piece of construction paper to glue your finished H on, some glue and some hearts.

Glue the hearts onto the letter H.

The completed letter H.
