Here is another cute turkey idea I found over at Ramblings of a Crazy Woman.

Here’s what you’ll need: construction paper, glue, brown paint, google eyes, paper plate, paper bowl for paint and something to paint with.

Paint the paper plate brown.

While your child is busy painting, cut out some feathers, feet and pieces for the face.

Glue on the feathers.

Add the turkeys face.

The completed turkey. I hung Hailey’s turkey up in our family room and she was so proud to see it there.
Paper Bag Turkey

It’s time for all the of the fun Thanksgiving and turkey projects to start! We made our first turkey project yesterday, one that I found over at Ramblings of a Crazy Woman.

You’ll need: paper bag, google eyes, construction paper, glue, something to tie around the bag and newspaper.

Stuff half of the bag with crumpled up newspaper.

Twist the middle of the bag and tie something it around to hold it in place (I used brown ribbon). Then stuff the top of the bag with more crumpled up newspaper. Tape the top of the bag shut.

Add a face to your turkey.

Add some feathers.

The finished paper bag turkey.
