Third Grade in Review
Just in time for Christmas, here is what we did back at Thanksgiving time 🙂
We read The Night Before Thanksgiving and then Hailey filled this out about the story.
We read several books about what it would be like to be pilgrim boy or girl.
Hailey made a book about what it would be like to be a pilgrim girl.
Inside her book she wrote about the different things she would have done and drew pictures to go with it. Â (Printables from The Razzle Dazzle Classroom.)
I saw a fun idea at Around the Kampire that was a little different than the usual disguise a turkey.
Hailey came up with three good reasons to eat hot dogs on Thanksgiving, instead of turkeys.
Then she made a turkey disguised as a pigeon.
Each person in our family made these cute turkeys that have a little pouch in the front. Â Then we wrote reasons we were thankful for each other and put them in the pouches. Â It was so nice to see what everyone said about each other.
