Tot School
Hunter is 27 months old.
We have been busy having lots of fun in Tot School! We had 2 short weeks, with only 3 days of school each week. So, this post covers what we did during the last 2 weeks.
Letter M activities:
Hunter glued pom poms onto the M and the monkeys. We used this and several other printables from COAH.
Hunter lined up some Unifx cubes on the letter M.
Hunter colored the letter M.
Hunter used water colors to paint this M paper. We also used this and several other printables from 1+1+1=1.
He stamped the letter M on this mouse and then glued on some foam Ms.
I’m pretty sure the M&M activities were his favorite 🙂 Although he ate most the M &Ms instead of putting them on the paper. I gave him a little pile of M&Ms and told him to put them on the M on his paper. He said, “I can’t” and then stuffed them right in his mouth hahaha.
He practiced color sorting with the M&Ms.
We made this M is for Mike (or M is for Monster).
We read 5 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed. Hunter loved this book and has been singing about the monkeys ever since.
I made a Five Little Monkeys lapbook for Hunter.
The inside of the lapbook. Hunter loved this!! We had so much fun with this lapbook.
Manipulatives:
Hunter worked on his alphabet puzzle.
These rainbow pegs kept Hunter busy for a long time!
Sensory Bins:
I have decided to do a couple of small sensory bins each week with Hunter.
Hunter liked playing with the beads.
The yarn was fun too.
The bean seeds were definitely his favorite.
Hunter loved the sensory bins!! They all kept him occupied for a very long time.
(I was closely supervising Hunter during the sensory bin activities as the beads and beans are both choking hazards).
Other stuff:
Hunter had fun in our tunnel.
Stop by 1+1+1=1 to see what the other tots were up to this week.

What a fun week of tot school! I love that Monster M! All those letter activities and sensory bins look awesome! My son would love a bead sensory bin 🙂
The Mike M is too cute! Looks like a wonderful week! Love it when an activity keeps them interested for a long time!
