Fun with Red
Hunter is learning the color red, so I made this red sensory bin for him. I didn’t think I was going to be able to find much red stuff, but after less than 5 minutes of walking around our family room I was able to fill the bin.
Hunter loved playing with everything in the bin. The best part seemed to be trying to see which items he could fit inside of other items.
I stacked some blocks and Hunter added to the top.
Hailey got home from school while we were playing with the sensory bin, so Hunter was done with the bin. Playing with his big sister is definitely his favorite thing to do!
I saw these cute “crayons” for toddlers, so I thought it would be fun for Hunter to use them.
He didn’t think it was fun though and it just frustrated him. Then the crayon kept falling out, so I just gave him the crayon to write with.
He has never used a crayon before, so of course he had to taste it.
I showed him several times what to do with it, but he was more interested in shaking the crayon than trying to color with it. I didn’t think he was going to color, so I turned around to get our next activity ready. When I turned back around he was coloring 🙂

(My opinion- don’t waste your money on those cute “crayons.”)
