Leaf Rubbing

06
Oct

Our theme last week was fall.  The first activity we did was some leaf rubbing.

Our Crafts ~N~ Things

Here’s what you’ll need: construction paper, leaves, crayons with paper removed, tape, scissors and white computer paper.

Tape a leaf to the table and then put the white computer paper on top of the leaf.  Add a couple of pieces of tape to the paper to keep it in place.

Rub the side of the crayon over the spot where the leaf is.

Cut out the leaf rubbing and glue it onto a piece of fall colored construction paper.

Tot School

It has been a long time since we participated in Tot School.  We got busy with our move and then busy enjoying summer and I just ran out of time to participate.  But we are back!  Our first week back to Tot School was the week of Sept 21st, right after we came home from Disney World.  We had a great vacation but we all came home sick- so our first week was kind of a slow week.  Here’s what we did:

Our letter of the week was the letter A and our theme was Apples.

Our Crafts ~N~ Things

We made this Aa is for Apple page for what will be our alphabet book.  You can see all of our A  Activities here.

We made the Seasons of the Apple Tree- we made one page for each season to show how the apple tree looks during each season.  You can see how we did the Seasons of the Apple tree here.

Our Crafts ~N~ Things

We made this very simple Paper Plate Apple.

As you can see it was a pretty light week in terms of projects.  We were feeling much better last week so I will have a lot more to share during this coming week.
