Indian Corn

We made some really easy Indian Corn.

You’ll need: Indian corn shape cut from paper bag, glue, ribbon, construction paper cut into squares.

Glue the colored squares onto the Indian corn.

Once they are dry, tie a ribbon around the Indian corn and display.

Gobble Gobble

Here is another cute turkey idea I found over at Ramblings of a Crazy Woman.

Here’s what you’ll need: construction paper, glue, brown paint, google eyes, paper plate, paper bowl for paint and something to paint with.

Paint the paper plate brown.

While your child is busy painting, cut out some feathers, feet and pieces for the face.

Glue on the feathers.

Add the turkeys face.

The completed turkey.  I hung Hailey’s turkey up in our family room and she was so proud to see it there.

Paper Bag Turkey

It’s time for all the of the fun Thanksgiving and turkey projects to start!  We made our first turkey project yesterday, one that I found over at Ramblings of a Crazy Woman.

Our Crafts ~N~ Things

You’ll need: paper bag, google eyes, construction paper, glue, something to tie around the bag and newspaper.

Stuff half of the bag with crumpled up newspaper.

Our Crafts ~N~ Things

Twist the middle of the bag and tie something it around to hold it in place (I used brown ribbon).  Then stuff the top of the bag with more crumpled up newspaper.  Tape the top of the bag shut.

Add a face to your turkey.

Add some feathers.

Q-Tip Skeleton

I saw this Q-Tip Skeleton idea in one of my Mailbox magazines and I thought it was so cute!

Here’s what you’ll need: black construction paper, glue, Q-Tips, a small cutout of your child’s face.

Glue the Q-Tips in the shape of a skeleton.
