Letter of the Week- Letter F
Nov
Our letter of the week last week was the letter F.

As always we started out by decorating the letter template for the letter of the week.
I found a cute idea at Homeschool Creations that we used for our project that will go in our ABC book.

You’ll need: construction paper, google eyes, glue and whatever you want to use to decorate your fish bowl.

Glue everything together.

The finished F is for Fish page for our alphabet book.
Letter of the Week- Letter E
Nov
Our letter of the week last week was the letter E.

Hailey used water colors to decorate the letter E.
Our project for our alphabet book is something I found at Homeschool Creations.

Hailey colored a picture of an elephant.

Then I cut the elephant and made it into a puzzle. Hailey glued the puzzle together.

The finished E is for Elephant Puzzle.
Review of A-D
Oct
Last week we reviewed the letters A-D. Here is a look at some of the activities we did to reinforce the letters.
We used our letter cookie cutters and cut out the letters A-D.
Hailey sorted the letters A-D.
We started putting together Hailey’s book of ABC’s using the letter projects we did during the week we focused on that letter.
For each letter, Hailey glued the letter template that she has decorated onto construction paper and then put it into a page protector. Then she also added her letter project. When we finish the whole alphabet I think we’ll have a pretty cute book!
Letter of the Week- Letter A
Sep
We officially started back to “school” last week. I know it’s a bit late but I wanted to wait until after our trip to Disney World to start. So, last week was our first week. We are going to go through the alphabet all over again. So we started this week with the letter Aa.
The first activity we did was to decorate the letter A. Hailey used water colors to paint the letter A.
We are going to make an alphabet book this year with a page for each letter. I found this idea at Homeschool Creations. Hailey cut out the apple shape all by herself, then ripped it in half (to make it look like it had been eaten). Then she ripped the white rectangle and added some fingerprints for seeds. We will use this for our Aa page in the alphabet book.
Then Hailey made fingerprint ants. She had a hard time understanding my directions of three dots right next to each other to make the ant. But we got a few ants out of it.
Hailey practiced writing the letter Aa on these wipe off cards. She did pretty good tracing the letters but then she decided to color the whole card, so you can’t see where she practiced writing.
You can see other letter A activities here.
