Letter of the Week- Letter P

01
Jun

Our letter of the week this week is the letter P.  Hailey loves princesses- so I thought it would be perfect to make a letter P Princess.

Our Crafts ~N~ Things

Here’s what you’ll need: construction paper with the letter P on it, blank construction paper, construction paper for the crown and the face, sequence, glitter, wiggly eyes and glue.

Our Crafts ~N~ Things

Glue some sequence onto the P so the princess will have lots of jewels to wear.

Our Crafts ~N~ Things

While Hailey was busy gluing the sequence on, I cut out a crown, a mouth and face for the princess.  The yellow D shaped piece will fit inside the P and will be the princesses face.

Our Crafts ~N~ Things

Glue the face on, add some eyes, a nose and mouth.

Glue the crown on and then put some glue onto the crown.  Then sprinkle glitter on the crown and all over the Princess- there is no picture of this step because I was busy making sure the glitter didn’t get all over everything.

Here’s what you’ll need: letter N on construction paper, another piece of construction paper, crayons, glue, and some numbers.

Our Crafts ~N~ Things

Color the letter N.

After Hailey colored the “N” I cut it out and she glued it onto the other piece of construction paper.

Our Crafts ~N~ Things

I put the numbers out and we practiced counting.

Then Hailey glued the numbers onto the letter N.

Letter of the Week- Letter L

09
Mar

Sorry that I have disappeared for the last week- we have been really busy! We are in the midst of selling our house and that can be a pretty time consuming process. I am going to try to post more regularly- but I just can’t promise that I will be able to.

Our letter of the week this week is the letter L.  We made a Letter L with Lines on it.

Our Crafts ~N~ Things

Here’s what you’ll need:  letter L on a piece of construction paper, another piece of construction paper, paint and Q-Tips.

Our Crafts ~N~ Things

Paint some lines on your letter L.  I showed Hailey how to make a line and then she took over.  She did pretty well making some lines and then asked me to help her finish.

Our Crafts ~N~ Things

Here is our finished Lined Letter L.
