You’ve worked hard all day, dinner is over, the dishes are done and it’s time to relax.  You grab a cup of coffee and the newspaper and head out to your patio to relax.  You’re just settling in and enjoying reading the news when buzz, buzz… the mosquitoes join you.  And they start biting.  Not only is that annoying but mosquitoes can carry diseases too.

It’s time to consider some mosquito traps.  The mosquito magnet is a trap that attracts and captures the mosquitoes and other insects that bite that are hanging out in your yard.  It’s the perfect way to be able to enjoy summer time outside without all of the annoying bugs!

Today we went to the house that will hopefully be ours someday.  We wanted to take some measurements just in case the closing happens sometime in our lifetime.  Anyhoo- as I was looking around the outside of the house I was imagining some of the changes we would want to make.  The deck is one- it’s too small.  The outdated looking bushes are another- I have some wonderful plans for those.  I did see a cute little bird feeder that I would like to keep.  I was also looking at some hummingbird feeders and I saw some of the best hummingbird feeders- they are so beautiful and having a bird feeder that would attract them would add so much to the backyard.  The backyard that will hopefully be ours before Hailey gets married.

In a couple of weeks Rich and I will be celebrating our anniversary.  In a way it seems like we just got married but at the same time it feels like we’ve always been married.  In reality we will be celebrating 9 years of marriage.  I have no idea what kind of gifts we are “supposed” to give for our 9 year anniversary.  But I am thinking about getting a watch for Rich for his gift.  I bought him one a few years ago for Christmas but he didn’t like it.  So now I need to try again!

So I was checking out some Casio watches at BlueDial today.  There are tons of choices to look through- and I know I can find something that Rich would love.  I think a watch would make a perfect anniversary gift- it’s something that Rich would have for a long time.

We’ve also talked about taking a little trip to celebrate- some time away together would be wonderful too.  So I’m not really sure what we’ll end up doing.  The last couple of months have been a bit stressful with our move so I think doing something special together would be really nice.

What do you do to celebrate your anniversary?

So we still haven’t moved into our new house.  Our contract says we will close on or about June 1st.  We were told we would be able to do it sooner- around May 20th.  Well, guess what- it’s June 29th and we are still not in our new house.  Thankfully my parents have been wonderful and we have been staying with them for almost 2 months.  It’s so frustrating and the hold up can be entirely blamed on our mortgage broker.  I know of 2 others who are using him and are also frustrated with his services.  By now we could have rented our own construction equipment, like a 6×6 bucket truck and built our own house.  Oh well, we’re being told  (AGAIN) that we will be closing this week.   We’ll see.

I was doing some more thinking about where to find ideas for things to do and I keep coming back to the Internet.  There are so many resources out there.  If you are looking for perforated metal stainless you can find that online.  If you want ideas for a vacation or you’re trying to figure out where you can get your groceries for the best price you can get that online.  For the most part I do searches about activities to do with Hailey and lately I’ve been researching going to Disney World.  How about you- what do you use the Internet for?
