I saw this Q-Tip Skeleton idea in one of my Mailbox magazines and I thought it was so cute!

Here’s what you’ll need: black construction paper, glue, Q-Tips, a small cutout of your child’s face.

I got this idea for a Friendly Ghost over at Ramblings of a Crazy Woman.

Our Crafts ~N~ Things

You’ll need: paper plate, glue, marker, white tissue paper, construction paper.

Our Crafts ~N~ Things

Cut the tissue paper into strips, draw a face on the plate, cut out pieces for the hat and bow tie.

Our Crafts ~N~ Things

Glue the white tissue paper onto the back of the paper plate.

Our Crafts ~N~ Things

Glue on the hat and bow tie.

Our Crafts ~N~ Things

Here’s what you’ll need: black and blue construction paper, scissors, glue, google eyes, scissors and a pencil.

Our Crafts ~N~ Things

Trace your child’s hands and cut them out.  Normally I try to have Hailey do the cutting, but I knew this would only cause frustration so I did the cutting.  Then glue the hands onto the blue construction paper.

Our Crafts ~N~ Things

Add eyes.  (By the way, I have no idea why those shoes are on the table!)

The finished bat.

Spider Activities

We did several spider activities last week and I wanted to get them all posted before Halloween, so I decided to just post all of them in one post.

Spider Web:

Our Crafts ~N~ Things

Here’s what you’ll need- paper plate with slits cut in the sides, tape, 3 pieces of yarn about 3 feet long, and a spider.

Our Crafts ~N~ Things

Tape the yarn to the back of the plate and then weave the yarn in and out of the slits cut in the plate.  When you get close to the end of the yarn tape it on the back of the plate and start another piece of yarn.  Add the spider on to the last piece of yarn.

The Very Busy Spider:

Our Crafts ~N~ Things

Use your crayon to make a rubbing of the spider web.

Our Crafts ~N~ Things

Stamp your finger print onto the paper.  Add some legs.

Spider Craft:

Our Crafts ~N~ Things

Mix the colors together to try to make the paint look black.

Our Crafts ~N~ Things

Paint the egg carton cup.
