Tot School

Hunter is 21.5 months old.

This week at Tot School we focused on the color orange, the letter B and fall.

Tot School

Hunter loved playing with the orange playdough.  He used a little knife to cut it and some letters to stamp it.  Mostly he just wanted to carry it around all day in his hands.

Tot School

He colored in his calendar notebook using an orange dry erase marker (his pages are in page protectors).

Tot School

He made a Bumble Bee letter B, like the Bumble Bee B that Hailey made when she was a toddler.

Tot School

Completed Bumble Bee B.

Tot School

Hunter stamping the “B for Bus” using the printables from the Zoomin Movin Alphabet.

Tot School

Gluing buses onto the letter B, also from the Zoomin Movin Alphabet.

Road Trip USA

I am using Road Trip USA for Hailey, and Hunter enjoys doing it too.  He was finding the fish on our USA Animals wall.

Road Trip USA

He also helped Hailey paint the water for a bridge project she was making.

Fall Tree Craft

Hunter colored a tree for a fall tree craft that we made.

Apple Lapbook

We are working on a fall unit study that we started back in September.  We just finished up a fun mini-apple unit that is part of our fall study.

Apple Unit

We are using a 1/2 inch binder for our fall unit study.

Then there are tabs for each of our mini-units that will be included.  Hailey keeps all of her papers about each unit in the correct section of her binder.

Apple Lapbook

At the end of our apple unit Hailey put together an Apple Lapbook.

Oct

Welcome back to the Bee Crafty Kids link up that I am co-hosting with To The Moon and Back Look! We’re Learning and Monster’s Ed Homeschooling Academy.

We have had so much fun learning all about apples and making all sorts of apple crafts!  Here is another one we had fun doing:

Apple Basket Craft

This is almost everything you’ll need to make your apple basket.  I did forget green paper for the leaves on the apples.

Apple Basket Craft

Hunter glued his apples onto his paper.  I helped him glue his basket onto his apples.

Apple Basket Craft

Hailey wrote out a sign for how much her apples would cost.

Apple Basket Craft

The completed apple baskets.
