Story of Creation Crafts

Last fall I taught Hailey about the story of creation.  Here are the crafts we did to reinforce what she was learning:

Day 1- God created day and night.

Day 2- God created sky and water.

Day 3- God created the land with grass, trees and flowers.

Day 4- God created the sun, moon and stars.

Day 5- God created fish and birds.

Day 6- God created animals and people.

Day 7- God rested.

Song Activities

I still haven’t had time yet to do any crafts with Hailey.  We have almost everything unpacked and I should be able to do some new activities soon.  I thought since I didn’t get a chance to make anything with Hailey today that I would post some of our favorite song related activities from last summer.

We made this to go along with Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.

We made a school bus to go with The Wheels on the Bus.

A really cute song is The Little Green Frog and we made a puppet to go along with is.

The Five Little Ducks is fun song and we made a duck pond to go along with it.

Caterpillars and Butterflies

Here is another review of some of the activities we did last summer.  I’m really hoping to be back next week with some new posts- hopefully I’ll be somewhat organized by then.

Here is a cute caterpillar made with an egg carton.

We made a butterfly sun catcher.

We made butterflies out of coffee filters.

That is just a quick sampling of what we did- you can find lots more butterfly and caterpillar activities here.

Beach Theme Ideas

Since I am too busy unpacking from our recent move to do any crafts yet I thought I’d share some of the beach themed ideas we did last summer.

We painted sea shells.

Hailey loved doing sand art.

We made this fun fish craft.

We set up our own little beach.
