The Mayflower
November 19th, 2009
I saw this cute Mayflower craft over at Ramblings of a Crazy Woman. So after we read a book about Thanksgiving and talked about what the Mayflower was we made this project.

You’ll need: construction paper, craft sticks, glue and a brown crayon.

Color the boat.

Glue on the water.

Add the boat and the sails.

The finished Mayflower.

Name Practice With Turkey
November 18th, 2009
This was a very easy project that is great for practicing letters and spelling names.

I cut out feathers for the turkey and wrote the letters in Hailey’s name on the feathers.

Once we were done practicing the letters and spelling her name, we glued the feathers on.

The completed turkey.

Paper Plate Turkey
November 12th, 2009
Here is a cute paper plate turkey I saw over at Ramblings of a Crazy Woman.

Here’s what you’ll need: paper plate, construction paper, google eyes, glue and (not pictured) brown paint.

Cut out the center of the paper plate and then paint it brown. Or if you are trying to make a huge mess- paint your hands and your arms instead of the plate

Glue on the turkey body and head.

Add some feathers.

The finished turkey.
