One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish

Our book for today was One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish by Dr. Seuss.  We did a few activities to go along with this story.

This printable came from the Dr. Seuss Unit from What the Teacher Wants.  This printable is called Pattern Fish.  I stamped the first few fish in each row with a different pattern and had Hailey finish the pattern.

This was supposed to be a Goldfish Graph using different colored goldfish.  But I couldn’t find any colored goldfish, so we used pom poms instead.  We talked about most/least.

Hailey also did this counting sheet from ObSEUSSed.  And after she finished putting the goldfish on the counting sheet, we practiced subtraction while she ate the fish.

Then Hailey decorated a fish using tissue paper.  I found this fish printable here, but you could use anything you want.

Here is the finished fish.
